Bermuda All-Inclusive Family Resorts

Bermuda is famous for its sandy beaches, tropical fish swimming, and foam-green ocean waters. Over the years, the destination has gained prominence for its excellent resorts. These Bermuda family resorts offer all-inclusive deals that you can enjoy with loved ones. So if you need a break from the long hours at work or simply want to unwind, a vacation to any of Bermuda All-Inclusive Family Resort can help you get better. Here, you can go snorkeling in the blue waters, play on the sunny pink-sand beaches, explore Bermuda’s insightful and cultural attractions, and see various sea creatures at the zoo and aquarium.

These family-friendly resorts in Bermuda are the ideal home base for exploring the island, whether you’re traveling with babies in arms or difficult-to-please teenagers. Expectant mothers will also be glad to hear that Bermuda is Zika-free, as the mosquito that transmits the infection is not found there. It’s just another cause to forget about your troubles.

Best Time to Visit Bermuda Resorts with Family

The best time to visit Bermuda’s all-inclusive family resorts depends on the activities you would like to experience, the season you prefer, and how much you are willing to spend. There are two seasons in Bermuda: winter and summer. However, there’s no specific rainy season. It rains irregularly, at different times. But many who plan to visit Bermuda family resorts go for the warm weather, sandy beaches, and water.

In terms of value, March to April is the best time to visit a Bermuda all-inclusive family resort. Although it is not the peak summer season, the weather (the mid-60s and 70s) is mild enough to enjoy the beach (though not quite warm enough yet for swimming). Hotel rates are lower throughout these months.

Plan your trip for the winter season if golfing is your thing because Bermuda is cooler than the Caribbean in winter. You’ll also find the best accommodation deals and fewer crowds at popular sites. You can experience Easter in Bermuda and the Bermuda International Film Festival during this period.

If you want to visit Bermuda family resorts at their peak, with the best weather, you should go from May to October. Temperatures range from the high 60s to the mid-80s in Bermuda’s beach season. However, this is the time the island gains its reputation for luxury. Furthermore, demand is high. So if you wish to travel at this time, you’ll need to book several months in advance.

Another option is the period from November to February. Although temperatures rarely fall below 60 degrees, swimming at the beach is still too cold. If golf is your sport, though, you will receive a little discount for traveling during this time. Because there are fewer tourists in the winter, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and play golf at cheaper rates.

Average Cost of Family Resorts in Bermuda

The cost of family-friendly resorts in Bermuda can vary according to the season, location, and reputation.

Because of the heavy visitor traffic and pleasant weather, Bermuda’s all-inclusive family resort costs rise from May to October. Similarly, such an increase would be expected around the holidays. The winter months are typically less expensive due to the frequent rainfall that keeps people away. The most cost-effective months with the best weather are March, April, early May, and November.

Getting here

Arriving By Air

Prince Edward Island’s airport is located in Charlottetown (YYG) and is usually the best flight option. Alternate airports are Moncton, New Brunswick (YQM) and Halifax, Nova Scotia (YHZ) but require a shuttle service or car rental. View airport transfer options. View airport parking options.

Arriving By Land

There are two unique ways to reach our Island by land; the 12.9km Confederation Bridge (aka Epekwitk Crossing), the longest bridge over ice-covered waters (winter only) in the world, runs between Borden-Carleton, PEI and Cape Jourimain, NB.

Northumberland Ferries operates from May to December between Wood Islands, PEI and Caribou, NS.

Tolls are collected only when departing PEI and are per car (if traveling by car) or per person (cyclists/pedestrians).

A shuttle is available to take cyclists/pedestrians across the bridge. If driving that far and then leaving your vehicle in New Brunswick, you may want to check with the Cape Jourimain Nature Center to see if overnight (unsupervised) parking is still available at the gravel parking lot across from their main entrance, or alternatively inquire if there are other secure parking options they might suggest.

You can enter via the bridge, leave by ferry or vice versa. This provides the best of both worlds – a wonderful sea experience by ferry + a unique ride over the bridge. The ferry’s a cultural experience for many, and mid-afternoon summer crossings often come with entertainment and more.

Parking in Charlottetown

Parking facilities at MacQueen’s are limited and reserved for staff, tenants and retail customers. We’re unable to accommodate storing rental/shuttle/tour guest vehicles. If renting for just the day, you might consider the Queen Parkade (12 minute walk to MacQueen’s).

A number of parking facilities exist in the city, but not all offer overnight parking. The Pownal or Fitzroy Parkades (18/15 minute walks to MacQueen’s) accept short term parking for just $8.75+HST/day. If booking a tour with MacQueen’s and wish to arrange overnight/multi-day parking services in advance, then once your final tour balance is paid your Pre-Trip Navigation Form will have an option to request the Parking Agreement & Credit Card Authorization forms (2 pdf files). The airport has a maximum weekly parking charge of $70. If you’re super fancy or concerned about security, consider Atlantis Motor Group. For RV’s, you might consider the WalMart parking lot. Apart from that, unless you’ve paid for secure parking services, then you should be prepared for any associated risk with alternative vehicle storage choices. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
